It's a softtail slim and I fell in love. I started working overtime during the holidays and Joe was kind enough to put the bike aside till I was able to come in. "I recently retired at the age of 44 as an assistant principal from the Clark County School District. I was going crazy with nothing to do. My husband and I ran into one of my girlfriends who retired a couple of months before I did at the Mt Chareleston Lodge for breakfast, and she was riding her Harley! My husband and I decided to take the Harley Davidson Safety Course just to give us something to do together. I was the only girl in a class with four other men. I was the only one who had never rode before. My husband was the best person in that particular class and I was the worst. I fell at least 6 times ans actually ran into the wall once. I immediately got back on. I did not pass the driving test at the nd of the four days. However, James the trainer worked with me with one other lady that was struggling too for to days. I did improve, didn't fall, but, I had not improved enough to earn my drivers license.
In the meantime, I saw a BEAUTIFUl Ultrac Classic that I wanted to give my husband as n early birthday present. Financing was completed and the bike was his. Again, I had not passed the class and did not have a license, but was determined to earn one if it took two years. I told "Bradway Joe" that I wanted to buy a cute little sportster once I got my license in a year or so. Broadway Joe and everyone else there were sooooo supportive even as I felt I was the worst person in the history of Harley Davidson to ever ride a bike. They continue to encourage me. Put an AWESOME jacket on layaway that I could pick up onc I passed the class. As my husband Ken and I were signing the final documents to own his bike, Broadway Joe mentioned " Connie, I found your bike!". I asked what e meant, what do you mean you found MY bike? I don't have my license,,,,, he said I know, but you wanted a cure sportster, I have it in black cherry, with the Harely bags, it's great for you. I jumped out of my seat to go see it. It was perfect! I was till hesitant, because again, I did not have my license. Then Broadway told me how much they were asking for it. There was no way we could turn it down. My husband said we will take it! Ken rode his home that night, and mine was delivered the next day. I was sooo excited. I started riding with my husbands direction, I rode up and down our culdasac, practicing turning my head nd looking. Eventually I rode throughout our community, then outside of our community down Deersprings, and we started riding I breakfast and lunch. I rode it to the DMV to get my license and to register it. Now I REALLY LOVE riding. My husband rides with his friends every Thursday, ad I m working up to making those long rides to Laughlin, Kingman, Overton, California and anywhere else that their Hearts desire. My 19 year old daughter now wants to take the class along with my 21 year old daughter. I plan to upgrade to a heritage soft ail by the end of the year so one of the two will acquire my sportster. What a great bike to start on. My older daughter couldn't understand why they had to buy Harley if they bought bikes, and I explained that they know that I only buy the best so if they want my husband and I to condon their riding, they had to take the Harley Safety Course, and buy the best motorcycle possible which is one made by Harley Davdson, from the best salesmen that I have ever had the pleasure of ong service with. I have bought a number of brand new cars, three houses, this is my frost motorcycle and the first time that I have done business with a company where I felt like the entire company welcomed me to "their" family and the entire company did what ever they could to ensure we had a positive experience. I thank you Hendrson Harley Davidson for ensuring that we had a wonderful experience. I have a whole new ensight on my retirement now. I was going crazy not working after always working, now I'm greatful for the opportunity that I have been blessed with. We are looking forward to out trip to Stergis the summer, and a lifetime of continued fun, learning and riding. Broadway Joe thank you sooooo much for going out of your way to offer words of encouragement and advice when it was sincerely needed, the phone calls to make sure things were going well after my surgery, finding me the perfect bike at the perfect price, and I sincerely look forward to doing business with you again when my girls take your safety course, I buy my soft ail, and my girls get whichever bikes re best for them. At 18 and 21, I would bet money that they will not fall, and I'll ass first time around win a all girl or boy class. "Started looking for a used Electra Glide in June. Found a good price @ Henderson H.D. Called and got hooked up with Broadway Joe Murphy. This guy is all Aces! Got picky, and ended up not finding what I wanted till this week. The whole time Joe would call with whatever had come in, in my price/mileage range. Joe always kept us up to date. Bought an '03 FLH on Friday, rode it 300 miles home Saturday. Feel good about the deal, and Joe is one of the BEST guys I've ever delt with on any dealership purchase. Also a big Thank You to Pierre in the shop, who took a good half hour to just talk about all the differences of changes H.D made over the last 10 model years. Best ever dealership experience for me. "I recently decided I wanted to purchase an IRON 883 Sportster but I was new to NV and I had let my motorcycle license expire 10 years ago. So I took a trip down to Henderson HD and was greeted by a group of very friendly staff. I was then introduced to Joe Murphy (who was one of the funniest, nicest most genuine people I have ever met) and I starting inquiring about the Skilled Riders Course, and told him the bike I was interested in purchasing. He took my cell phone number down and told me he would call me if he heard anything. Less than a week later he called me and told me about an opening in the class that was being held in a couple days. I got the day off of work and enrolled in the course. (the course itself was awesome and truly worth taking for anybody who rides. Butch was my instructor and he is a great guy as well and did an awesome job!) A couple days before the class started Joe called me again and told me that the bike I was interested in (2012 IRON 883 in flat black) just "showed up" on the truck today. I called him back and put some money down to hold it until I took the Riders Edge course so I could get my motorcycle license again. After I finished the course I walked around to the other side of the dealership and met up with Joe and he showed me the bike for the first time and it was awesome! It was just what I wanted! We then started the paperwork and Joe made it as painless as possible. He is truly a great guy and so easy to talk to and you can tell he is just as excited as you are about your new purchase! He has some truly amazing stories that you just don't get to hear from the average person you meet in life. I then met up with Diane the finance manager who set me up with the loan and it was pretty painless as well. Diane is another great person they have there and she made the loan process quick and easy. Thank you to Joe, Diane and Butch!
Overall my experience at Henderson HD was truly awesome and enjoyable. From the first day I walked in the door inquiring about the class, to the time I rode my bike off the lot only 2 weeks had passed!!! I highly recommend going here for anything you need Harley oriented or even for just the Riders Edge Course. You cant go wrong! Thanks again everyone!

"On our way to Vegas, My husband saw an ad for a 2007 harley on sale, the salesman put it aside for us until we stopped in to look at it, took it for a test ride, some little things needs worked out, but overall the salespeople are very helpful and friendly they dont hound you or push you to buy, he pretty much already knew what he wanted, bought it the next day and trailed it home. "Henderson was the last stop for me before home on a 2000-mile trip out of L.A. through Nevada and Utah. I pulled into Henderson early and decided to stop by Henderson HD to see if they could get me in for an oil change and an air cleaner recharge. The service writer, Judy, had me in and out in a little over an hour. They also offered to drop me off and pick me up from a restaurant or my motel while the bike was being serviced, but I chose to spend the time nosing around the dealership instead.
What I was too tired to notice when they returned the bike was that, without being asked, they had thoroughly washed 2000 miles worth of road grime and bugs off and left the bike showroom clean. That saved me about a day's work after I got home, for which I will be eternally grateful. Great service all around from a friendly, first-class Harley dealer!"

"While getting out of the cold, snowy winter weather, I was lucky enough to be riding from Las Vegas to Laughlin when I picked up a screw in my rear tire just short of Searchlight. I called HOG and theythey told me Henderson HD was the closest repair facility. It was getting late, around 3:30 pm so I called and spoke with John he said he may not have a driver to pick me up, but he did find someone to come pick me and bike up. We got to Henderson just short of 5:00 and he had a tech on it immediatly, I was out of the store by5:30 and again on my way to Laughlin and my 5 traveling friends. Made the trip with no further problems and had a great 10 days of riding Nv. Arizona and Ca. All in all a truly great experience at the dealership. Thanks again Hintzy "

My wife said she would never ride on a motorcycle.When we hit the sales floor brad waited on us at every turn left us try all the bikes.the first were the ultra classic's I was able to get my wife on one in two up I asked her how she liked it said she felt secure. But still would not committ to riding. Long stoy short I came out with my 08 fatboy,got my wife on ,then couldn't get her off the motorcycle .Six months later my wife owns a 08 fatboy as well.We both did riders edge loved it. "I wanted a 2008 Screamin Eagle Road King, It took 3 weeks to get the deal done. Paul in sales and Diane in financing made it happen even though it wasen't an easy sale. I bought a 2007 Harley Street Glide in late 2006 from one dealership in Vegas and when I talked to them about trading it in I got the feeling they didn't want to work with me to make it happen. We also bought a 2007 Harley from Kingman Harley and when I tried to trade the Street Glide in they were to busy to work with me or even call me back. "Just an overall fabulous experience!
I got the Harley bug (again) about a month ago, while surfing the net. I had not been to Henderson Harley, and I thought it would be a good time to check out the dealership. I spoke with salesperson Jeff on the phone, and I was pleased to find that you had in stock my bike of choice, the V Rod Night Rod Special. It took me about a week before getting in, but it was great once there. An absolutely no hassle time. Jeff was very professional and a great person. The dealership was fabulous also, neat, clean, fully stocked, exactly what I want in my bike store! Once I convinced my wife to visit and see the bike i wanted, and we dropped by again, it was great to come back. We decided then to buy the bike, which was a painless process.
I need to compliment Jeff on his absolutely great attitude when, after reconsideration overnight, I called the next morning to let him know that we wouldn't be able to follow through with our purchase. He could not have been more accommodating and gracious. And I was pleased, after another day passed, to be able to call and tell the dealership that I was going to go ahead with the deal after all!
I can't be more happy with my V Rod! A wonderful machine, which was delivered to my house. Every person I've dealt with at Henderson Harley has been great, and I look forward to a long relationship with everyone as my V Rod will need service during its lifetime.
